Reading Town 10K Charity Fun Run

About this event

This popular charity 10K in Reading follows the Thames through town on a fast, flat course along the paved Thameside Promenade. Runners complete two laps with the river as constant companion, making it ideal for chasing a personal best or gauging 10K fitness on reliable terrain. The urban park setting offers pleasant riverside views rather than wilderness scenery, but solid organization — chip timing, changing facilities, and post-race refreshments — ensures a smooth experience. The supportive atmosphere and straightforward route make this October event particularly welcoming for beginners and anyone new to racing.
