About this event
The Northstowe Running Festival offers a unique glimpse into one of the UK's newest communities, where contemporary development meets Cambridgeshire countryside. The route weaves through green spaces and natural reserves, blending trail paths with road sections as it passes through both modern Northstowe and neighbouring Longstanton, where historical landmarks add character to the journey. Runners can choose between a half marathon and a 5K option. The wide-open skies and evolving landscape create an unusually fresh backdrop for a race, while the strong local community brings a welcoming atmosphere to this relatively new addition to the regional running calendar.
