About this event
La Vela Corsa brings the spirit of team running to Sillingy, a charming town near Annecy in the French Alps. This road event centers around relay racing, with a 11km team relay that pairs runners together for a shared challenge. The event also features youth categories across various distances, making it a popular community gathering where families come to cheer on young runners. The relay format adds a fun, collaborative element that takes some pressure off individual performance. Set in the Haute-Savoie countryside with Alpine views on the horizon, La Vela Corsa offers a festive atmosphere where running becomes a collective experience rather than a solitary pursuit.
