L'Ultr’Arverne

L'Ultr'Arverne takes runners through the heart of the Auvergne region on an epic road ultra journey. Based in Ambert, this event offers two massive distances — 573km and 778km — winding through the volcanic landscape of central France. The courses climb through 11,000 to 14,500 meters of elevation, threading past ancient puys and through traditional villages. This is a serious challenge for experienced ultra runners ready to test their limits over multiple days. The terrain combines rolling countryside with significant ascents, all on paved roads that allow for steady pacing through one of France's most distinctive regions.
