About this event
The Holmestrand Marathon offers something for nearly every runner, from a full marathon challenge to shorter 5km and 10km options, plus a dedicated 5km walk. Set along Norway's scenic coastline south of Oslo, the event grew from a community health initiative and maintains that welcoming, collective spirit. The flat, fast course makes it particularly appealing for runners chasing personal bests, while the smaller distances provide accessible entry points for those building up their endurance. There's even a 200-meter dash for young runners. The spring timing means crisp air and the landscape awakening from winter, creating an energizing atmosphere for racing.
