Höga Kusten Winter Trail takes runners through Sweden's dramatic High Coast in the depths of winter. The routes wind across snow-covered trails, frozen lakes, and up to summits with sweeping coastal views. Six distances range from the 13km Twin Peaks to the demanding 50km Insane, each showcasing steep climbs, deep forests, and exposed ridgelines. Starting and finishing at FriluftsByn, the event strikes a balance between serious winter challenge and thoughtful support—generous cut-offs and solid logistics help runners tackle the harsh but beautiful terrain. The landscape rewards the effort: this UNESCO World Heritage area shows a different character under snow and ice.
