Hampton Court Half Marathon

The Hampton Court Half Marathon winds through South West London's most historic riverside landscapes. The flat, fast course follows a mix of closed roads and Thames-side paths through Thames Ditton and Kingston, passing the grand silhouette of Hampton Court Palace at mile 10 — the former residence of King Henry VIII. Timed perfectly seven weeks before Brighton Marathon and nine weeks before London, it's become a trusted race for spring marathon preparation. The route's combination of smooth surfaces and relatively flat terrain makes it popular among runners chasing personal bests. Finishers receive a tech shirt and medal to mark the occasion.
