The Carnival Run brings a festive twist to Krakow's winter trail running calendar. Part of the Grand Prix Krakowa series, this February race offers a 23km trail with 906 metres of climbing through the hills surrounding Poland's historic city. Runners are encouraged to race in costume, adding splashes of color to the winter landscape. The atmosphere blends serious racing with carnival spirit — competitive but lighthearted, with a route that tests endurance across rolling terrain. Set in one of Europe's most beautiful cities, the event offers a distinctive way to experience Krakow's surrounding trails when most runners are still in their off-season.
