The Gorlicki Bieg Górski takes runners into the Beskid Niski, one of Poland's quieter mountain ranges near the Slovak border. Based around the village of Radocyna, the event offers three distances — a short 2km loop with 335 metres of climbing, a gentler 7km route with 154 metres of gain, and a full 24km course with 565 metres of elevation. November brings a raw, atmospheric quality to these wooded trails, with autumn leaves likely still carpeting the forest floor. The Beskid Niski remains refreshingly uncrowded compared to Poland's more famous peaks, offering a taste of genuine backcountry running without the usual trail congestion. Now in its eleventh year, this event has built a steady local following while remaining welcoming to newcomers.
