About this event

This festive December road race in Bingley brings seasonal cheer to the Aire Valley. Starting from the Fisherman Inn, the course rolls through West Yorkshire's countryside, where runners tackle distances from 5 kilometres to the full marathon. The event welcomes everyone from first-timers testing a 5k to experienced runners chasing marathon goals. Many participants embrace the festive spirit with seasonal costumes, and marshals along the route keep the atmosphere warm despite the crisp winter air. Feed stations provide fuel, chip timing tracks progress, and everyone finishes with a seasonal medal. The combination of rolling terrain and community spirit makes it a genuine celebration of running as the year winds down.
