Country to Capital

About this event

Country to Capital is a 69-kilometre road ultra running from countryside into the heart of Westminster. The point-to-point route offers a distinctive journey through changing landscapes — beginning in rural terrain, passing through London's gradually urbanising outskirts, and finishing among the capital's iconic landmarks. With 420 metres of climbing spread across the distance, the course demands sustained endurance rather than technical skill. The January timing brings winter conditions into play, making this a test of both physical stamina and mental resolve. Best suited to experienced ultra runners comfortable with long road efforts.
