Connemarathon

The Connemarathon brings runners to the wild heart of Connemara, where the landscape does most of the talking. The routes weave past sparkling lakes and through sweeping valleys, with the kind of rugged scenery that makes Ireland's west coast legendary. The half marathon links Leenane village to Maam Cross over 21km, with a couple of proper climbs to keep things interesting. The marathon starts further back at Lough Inagh, while the ultra stretches to 63km for those wanting the full Connemara experience.
