About this event
The Clacton Half Marathon & 10K runs along the town's scenic seafront promenades, where the sound of waves and fresh coastal air accompany runners throughout. Both the half marathon and 10K follow flat, accurately measured courses that work well for anyone chasing a personal best or simply enjoying a seaside run. The atmosphere feels genuinely festive, with enthusiastic marshals and crowds of holidaymakers cheering from the seafront. Beyond the racing, there's a relaxed, community feel — junior races run alongside the main events, and finishers receive bespoke medals, free race photos, and even post-race massages. It's the kind of event that combines solid race organization with the easy charm of an English seaside town.
