About this event

The Bungay Black Dog Marathon takes runners through the quiet lanes and countryside of East Suffolk, where legend says a ghostly black dog once roamed. This early spring road event offers a half marathon and 10km option, making it accessible to those looking to test their speed on rolling rural roads. The course winds through traditional English villages and farmland, with the River Waveney never far away. It's a low-key, friendly race that attracts local runners and visitors alike, perfect for anyone seeking a proper country road challenge without the crowds of larger city events.
