About this event
The Bridgwater Half Marathon brings runners together in this historic Somerset market town for a proper road racing challenge. The event offers something for different levels, with a half marathon for those ready to test themselves over the classic 21.1km distance, plus 10km and 5km options for newer runners or those wanting a shorter effort. Set in the heart of Somerset, the course winds through Bridgwater's streets and surrounding areas, giving participants a chance to explore this riverside town on foot. It's a well-organized local event that draws the community together each September, with a friendly atmosphere despite the competitive edge at the front of the pack.
