About this event
A cornerstone of the UK running calendar since 1982, the Brentwood Half Marathon brings together thousands of runners each March for Essex's largest road race. The gently rolling course suits both those chasing personal bests and runners building toward spring marathons. With chip timing, pacemakers across a wide range of speeds, and strong crowd support throughout, the event offers a well-organized race day experience. An 8km Fun Run provides a shorter option for those wanting a less demanding challenge. All finishers receive a medal crafted from recycled materials, and the event's BARR Gold Standard rating reflects its commitment to quality and community — all proceeds support charitable causes.
