ATW St Albans Half Marathon

Set in historic St Albans, just 20 minutes by train from London, this race begins and ends in Verulamium Park, a 100-acre green space built on the ruins of Roman Verulamium. The half marathon route explores scenic country lanes through villages like Bedmond and Potters Crouch before looping back through the park, where runners pass visible Roman mosaics and hypocaust ruins. With distances ranging from a 2.4km fun run to a full half marathon (including a walking option), there's something for most fitness levels. The park's spacious event village makes logistics smooth, while St Albans Cathedral and the city's vibrant centre are just steps away for post-race exploration.
