The ATW Hatfield 5 is a road race known for its lightning-fast course — it recorded the third fastest 5-mile time in the UK back in 2022. Starting from the University of Hertfordshire campus, the route quickly joins the Alban Way, a popular local path that winds through Hatfield. With barely any elevation gain (just 3 metres over the entire distance), the course features long straights and sweeping bends that let runners settle into a rhythm.
