Altra Brighton Half Marathon

The Brighton Half Marathon has been bringing runners to England's south coast for over thirty years. The flat, seafront course makes it a popular choice for those chasing a personal best, weaving past the Royal Pavilion, Palace Pier, and the striking i360 tower before heading east along clifftop views and the colourful beach huts of Hove. Starting and finishing on Hove Lawns, the route draws lively crowds and street entertainment throughout. Organized by The Sussex Beacon HIV charity, the event attracts everyone from elite athletes and wheelchair racers to fancy-dress fundraisers, raising over £1 million each year for causes across the UK. With a pre-race expo and post-race celebrations by the sea, it's as much about community as competition.
