Almada Half Marathon

The Almada Half Marathon brings together runners of all levels on the south bank of the Tagus, just across from Lisbon. The main 21.1km course offers a proper challenge for intermediate runners, while the 10km race provides a shorter option for those building their distance. Families are welcome too, with a 5km walk and a 500m kids' race that turns the event into a community celebration. Organized by Almada City Council, the event has become a fixture in the Portuguese running calendar, drawing both local athletes and visitors who appreciate the accessible location and genuine race-day atmosphere.
