About this event
The Across the Cynllaith Hillwalk explores the rolling Welsh borderlands near Oswestry, where England meets Wales in a landscape of gentle hills and quiet valleys. Participants can choose between 16-mile and 10-mile routes, both rated intermediate, winding through the Cynllaith Valley's pastoral scenery. This is proper hillwalking country, where the terrain asks for steady pace and navigation skills rather than technical scrambling. The event suits those comfortable with longer distances and varied elevation, offering a chance to discover a lesser-known corner of the Marches. Spring timing means fresh greenery and (hopefully) clear views across the borderlands.
