The STHLM Trail Marathon brings trail running to Sweden's capital, offering distances from a 1km kids' trail to the demanding 90km Grit route. Stockholm's trail network winds through forests and along waterways surprisingly close to the city center, making this an accessible yet genuine trail experience. The 15km Sprint welcomes newcomers to the sport, while the 45km Ultra and 90km Grit challenge experienced runners with technical sections and sustained climbing. Taking place in mid-April, runners catch Stockholm as nature awakens from winter, with the city's unique archipelago landscape providing a distinctive Nordic trail running experience.
